How GameAJS handles player information and protects account data.
This Privacy Policy explains how GameAJS handles information associated with Epic Roots: Chowka Bara & More, including its Android game, online services, account features, optional purchases, advertising and support.
The initial release is intended for players aged 13 and older in India. Availability of particular services depends on the version of the Game and eligibility requirements.
1. GameAJS and this Policy
Epic Roots: Chowka Bara & More (the “Game”) is developed and operated under the name GameAJS (“GameAJS”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Policy covers the Game, its associated online services, the official GameAJS website and player-support interactions (together, the “Services”).

2. Information processed
Information varies according to the features used. The principal categories are described below.

Some game preferences and offline progress are stored on the device. Guest accounts can also have server-backed information; “Guest” does not necessarily mean that all information remains local.
3. Why information is processed
GameAJS processes information to authenticate accounts and support recovery; operate game modes, online matches and Friends; synchronize eligible progress; maintain accurate Coins, Gems and cosmetic ownership; verify purchases and process reversals; provide eligible advertising and rewards; deliver support and moderation; protect services from abuse; investigate failures; and satisfy applicable legal obligations.
Information is used for the purposes described in this Policy and, where legally required, only after the necessary consent or other authorization has been obtained.
4. Guest accounts, Google linking and cloud progress
Epic Roots offers eligible players Guest access and optional Google account linking. Google linking is used for account recovery and continuity across devices; it is required before real-money Gem purchasing under GameAJS account-protection rules. Separate accounts are not silently combined.
Account records, supported online progress, virtual wallets and entitlements may be held on GameAJS's servers. Some local settings and offline game states remain on the device. Uninstalling the Game does not by itself delete a server-backed account.
Google authentication and Play services also operate under Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. What other players may see
When online features are used, other participants may see the display name, selected public profile appearance, configured avatar or frame, supported game information and actions visible within matches or Friends features. Account credentials, payment-card details and private support correspondence are not made available through player profiles.
Epic Roots uses predefined emoji reactions for in-game expression and does not provide general text or voice chat.
6. Age eligibility and younger players
The Game's initial India release is intended for users aged 13 and older. GameAJS does not intentionally direct the Game to children under 13. Applicable eligibility requirements may restrict account creation, online functions, advertising or purchases.
Users aged 13–17 are subject to applicable age-specific safeguards. If parental or guardian authorization is required under applicable law, an age declaration, acceptance of game Terms, or a Google Play purchase approval does not by itself replace such authorization. Features that cannot lawfully be provided without required authorization may be unavailable.
Parents or guardians may contact our privacy contact about a younger player's information or access. India's notified digital-personal-data legislation has a phased commencement schedule; GameAJS will update applicable safeguards as requirements take effect.
7. Advertising and privacy choices
Where enabled, the Game displays banners in designated game screens and offers voluntary rewarded advertisements for eligible in-game benefits. The Game uses Google AdMob for applicable ad services and uses Google’s privacy/consent mechanisms where required.
Personalized advertising is only used where it is permitted and relevant privacy requirements are met. Ad requests for teenage users must receive the appropriate restricted treatment, and advertising may be unavailable if eligibility or privacy requirements have not been satisfied. Agreeing to the Terms of Service does not constitute consent to all advertising or tracking.

8. Purchases, Coins, Gems and refunds
Optional real-money Gem packs, when offered, are processed by Google Play Billing. GameAJS receives purchase references and verification results needed to fulfill Gems and purchased cosmetic entitlements. A purchase is not fulfilled until it is verified. Payment disputes, refunds and confirmed reversals may affect Gems and related entitlements.
Coins are not sold for real money. They are earned through eligible gameplay, daily rewards and permitted rewarded-ad mechanisms. Gems cannot be converted into Coins, and neither currency is redeemable for cash.

9. Service providers and disclosures
GameAJS uses service providers to operate the Services, including DigitalOcean for game infrastructure and data storage, Cloudflare for website delivery and related network services, and Google for Play services, eligible sign-in, Play Billing and AdMob advertising. Each provider's involvement depends on the feature accessed and deployed configuration.
Relevant data is disclosed or made available only as needed for those functions, security, support, legal compliance or lawful requests. Providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Advertising-related processing by Google and its partners is subject to separate controls and disclosures.
We do not sell player account records to data brokers.
10. Storage locations and transfers
GameAJS operates its primary game backend on infrastructure in India. Certain backup, website, platform-provider or support operations may involve processing in other countries, including storage or processing by providers outside India. Appropriate safeguards are applied where required by applicable law.
11. Information security
GameAJS applies safeguards including encrypted network connections, protected session credentials, restricted administrative access and server-side verification of sensitive wallet and purchase operations. No online service is entirely free from risk. Players should not share passwords, sign-in codes, authentication tokens or complete card details with Support.
12. Retention and deletion
Account, progress and entitlement information is retained while needed to provide the relevant account services. Support correspondence, operational logs and moderation information are retained as needed to investigate issues and maintain service integrity. Purchase, refund, tax, dispute, fraud or security evidence may be retained when legitimately required or permitted.
Retention depends on the record category and applicable obligations; there is no single retention period for every type of data. Information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified as appropriate. Account deletion does not automatically remove records that must be preserved under an applicable legal obligation.
13. Deleting an account
Eligible players can request deletion through the Game's Account Settings or using the external account-deletion page, including after uninstalling the app. Ownership verification protects against unauthorized requests.
For verified requests processed through the existing deletion workflow, account deletion is scheduled after a seven-day cancellation period. When completed, the account and associated data under GameAJS control are deleted, except records that can lawfully be retained. A request is not equivalent to immediate erasure while verification or the cancellation period is ongoing.

14. Privacy choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, players can request information about data use, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of their account, or exercise other applicable privacy rights. Consent-based processing may offer choices to withdraw or adjust consent. Requests involving account data may require suitable ownership verification.

15. Website information
The official GameAJS website is an informational website without its own player login. When you visit it, hosting and network services may process request metadata such as IP address, time and browser information to serve and protect the pages. If you email Support, your message and sender information are processed for correspondence. Links to Google and other sites are subject to their own privacy practices.
16. Changes to this Policy
GameAJS may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services or legal requirements. The latest version is published on this page. Where material changes require a new notice, acknowledgement or consent, these will be provided as applicable.
